Breslin was established in 1990 by Mary Breslin. Initially, the company provided nurses and carers in both the public and private sectors. In more recent years, the company has concentrated predominantly on providing domiciliary care (in both the private and public sectors), specialising in the provision of care to people with learning disabilities, dementia and people needing palliative care – this change has been reflected in the renaming of the company to Breslin Health & Social Care Limited.

Breslin is quality driven promoting and maintaining a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental good care practice which meets the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies and current government legislation.
